A water repellent wood preservative developed especially for the millwork industry, DryVac 1010 meets the requirements of CSA A440 and WDMA soil block and water repellency protocols.
DryVac 1010 is currently being used by most of the major manufacturers of wood windows in Canada. DryVac 1010 contains propiconazole, a highly effective yet safe-to-use fungicide, plus a blend of resins and waxes that give it excellent water repellent qualities without impairing the bond with latex or oil based paints.
DryVac 1010 is supplied in 18.9L pails, 157kg drums and 800kg tote tanks. It can also be delivered by tanker.
DryVac 1030 range of products are water repellent treatments in a water base, so there are no fire restrictions on their use, and unless they are being sprayed, no special ventilation system is required either. The clear version is an effective water repellent treatment for millwork and finished carpentry that produces minimum grain raising and leaves the wood ready for painting or staining.
The DryVac 1030 is also available in a range of colours as well as clear. They have been specially designed to be applied onto fence board or siding in a DryVac double vacuum - pressure (DV/P) autoclave system. The vacuum-pressure impregnation ensures that the colour and water repellents are driven deep beneath the surface of the wood, ensuring that a durable coloured product is available for the consumer to enjoy for many years.
